Utermarck Family

Happy Thursday, friends! We’re so excited to share this beautiful fall family session at Centennial Lakes Park with the lovely Utermarck family.

We had the joy of spending the afternoon with Katie, Jeremy, and their sweet daughter Keely at Centennial Lakes Park. The vibrant fall colors were absolutely stunning, and even though the park was busy, it felt like we had this gorgeous spot all to ourselves.

Fun fact: Katie and I go way back—we were college roommates! (Ask me sometime about the night we moved in together—it’s quite the story!) Over the years, we’ve had the incredible privilege of photographing Katie, Jeremy, and Keely through many milestones—from their wedding day to their yearly family sessions.

As Minneapolis family photographers, these yearly sessions are some of our absolute favorites. It’s been such a joy watching Keely grow up year after year! One of the highlights of each session is the “best friend” photos Katie and I take together—I swear, I could write a whole blog just about those moments!

Katie, Jeremy, thank you so much for inviting us back year after year to capture your family’s story. We love you all so much! And hey, one of these years, Keely is going to be taller than me—maybe even at your very next session!
