I was so excited to spend some time photographing this beautiful motherhood session. Kristen is also a photographer and a dear friend who has been capturing our family since the moment Logan was born. Watching her become a mother has been such a joy!

I still remember the day she told us she was expecting sweet little June. We had just finished our family portraits for Logan’s first year and had just returned to our cars for the typical Minnesota goodbye. What a wonderful surprise!

Watching these two together is just so sweet. The way Kristen gently plays with June’s hair or strokes her cheek. How June smiles when her mom swings her back and forth. I just love capturing all the small moments in between the big smiles. I just love seeing you as a mama Kristen!
