The Experience
As a Minneapolis Portrait Photographer, my approach to motherhood portraits is natural, playful and comfortable. I promise I won’t spend a lot of time posing you. I can guarantee you that I will direct you to snuggle one another, offer a piggy-back ride and I am a HUGE fan of tickle fights (you have been warned)!
Through a mixture of candids and classic portraits, I will deliver a gallery full of joyful moments I know you’ll want to look back on, just as I look back on my own. I encourage you to set aside expectations and trust me to capture you in your most important role yet.

After we’ve gotten to know each other and crafted the perfect collection together, I will send you a contract via HoneyBook. All you have to do is sign your contract and pay the retainer fee to make the date yours!
It’s official! Now the real fun begins! Once you’re booked, you’ll receive a super helpful guide that includes important details + helpful tips for your session. Together we will select the perfect location for your session—whether it be at your home, a beautiful outdoor location, or in studio. I can also offer guidance through wardrobe selection!
Don’t worry—I fully expect your kids to act like kids! We’re parents too and know that little ones get restless! I work with their energy to capture photos that are joyful and true to this season of childhood. Your only job is to have fun with your family! You better believe we will say goodbye with big hugs!
Your day is here!! All you have to do is show up and have fun! We will meet at your session location and during our time together I will provide simple posing directions in a way that will bring out genuine emotion in your family’s interaction.
After your session, you’ll receive an online gallery of your images within 3 weeks. Look through your gallery together as a family and relive your session together through your images! From there, you can easily download, share and print your photos.
We strongly believe in printed portraits. Your images are part of your legacy and deserve a tangible place in your home. You will have the option to order beautifully printed artwork through your gallery including prints, framed artwork, photo books and more, and your order will be delivered directly to your doorstep.

Where do Motherhood sessions take place?
Motherhood sessions are lifestyle-based and typically occur at select outdoor locations around the twin cities or in client's homes. If you’d prefer, I have a few studios in the area I can share with you for an additional rental fee. A studio is a great option if you’re concerned about the light in your home or prefer not to worry about picking up for photos.
How long are Motherhood sessions?
We will spend 60 minutes together capturing this season of Motherhood during your Minneapolis portrait photography session.

Are all of the photos included?
Yes, you will receive all of the edited digital files in your gallery. There isn’t an additional fee for digital files for full sessions (mini sessions include 15). You are also able to print high quality images directly through your gallery and support your photographer (me!) with your purchase.
