Caroline + Carl’s wedding was a dream! We spent the day at the Minikahda Club with these two and their wedding was nothing short of perfect. While it was a little chilly, that didn’t stop us from capturing tons of beautiful outdoor portraits.
One of our favorite part about this day was that Caroline + Carl chose not to see each other before their ceremony. While we don’t typically photograph many weddings that don’t have a first look, (and if you’ve been around awhile you know why we love them so much) this was extra special. The bride and groom chose to write letters to each other to read before the ceremony—and they wanted to read them while in the same room without seeing each other! We helped carefully place them back to back so that there was no chance of a sneak peek. The quiet moments they spent holding hands and reading their letters was so incredibly special.
Carline prayed that there would be snow on her wedding day. As the ceremony ended and they walked back down the aisle a married couple, the snow started to fall! Big, fluffy, snow globe sized snowflakes! We were able to capture all their couple portraits in a winter wonderland!
