We met Laura and Craig for the first time at Quixotic Coffee on a Sunday morning. Still a little sleepy from the night before, we both were in desperate need for a good cup of coffee. Sitting quietly at a corner table waiting for their arrival, we started to get those little butterflies you get when you’re about to meet someone new.  Meeting our couples for the first time is always so exciting! We love hearing how they met, how they got engaged—their whole story! And let’s be honest, the part of the date where we get to know each other—share stories about our favorite hobbies and what shows we are currently binge watching on Netflix—that’s the part we are most excited about. Because you see, the relationships we build through wedding photography is why we continue to do it in the first place. And as soon as we met Laura and Craig, we knew we were going to love them!

Laura and Craig met each other online right as Craig was about to cancel his account. But something bigger intervened and he checked his messages one last time. There was Laura. That right there is fate. They share so many of the same interests, especially that of serving others. These two are so incredibly sweet, genuine and loving. We can’t even tell you how many stories were told about their generosity and love for others. They not only treat their friends and family well, but they also welcomed us on their wedding day as if we were dear friends.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day for this gorgeous wedding at Calhoun Beach Club! Girl Friday created an amazing balloon installation that made it look like balloons were pouring off of the balcony and it was the perfect backdrop for bridal party and family portraits. The blush, rose gold and various metallic accents helped make this wedding oh-so-elegant.
