Happy Wedding Wednesday! Working with Sophie and Grant on their ivory and purple Medina Country Club Wedding was so much fun. Coffee dates, lunch dates and many conversations. These two are so special to us!
The bride and groom have slightly different opinions on where they first met. If you ask Sophie, she would tell you they met at a Twins game. Grant on the other hand, would say they met at a bar (which was inside the Twins Stadium if we want to get technical). Sami (the maid of honor) started up a conversation with Grant, told him that Sophie was single and quickly left the two of them to talk. Before they knew it, this somewhat awkward first meeting turned into dinner dates, concerts and even more Twins games. Which brings us to today.
There’s a chance these two didn’t stop smiling all day — and Grant has a killer smile! The love they share is so apparent and real. Couples like this make our hearts so happy. At the reception, Grant stole us for a quick photo back in the kitchen of a cake he has made especially for his bride. A simple round cake with white icing and “my one true love” written on the top. Such a sweet sentiment. Grant is a true romantic!
Sophie and Grant, we just love you guys! Thank you so much for being you. We are so thankful to have been invited into your lives and even more thankful to call you friends.
LOVE when the groomsman are willing to be silly with us!
