Happy Wedding Wednesday friends! Ashley and Eric’s cranberry and gold wedding at Edinburgh Golf Course is one for the books! We can’t even begin to tell you how much fun these two are! The entire day with them was like hanging out with friends. Friends that you spend the whole day taking pictures of! Is this really our job?

The bride and groom met at Mississippi Dunes Golf Links — he was the assistant golf professional and she worked part-time as a banquet bartender. It took them more than 5 months to exchange phone numbers but once they did, it was only a few days until they went on their first date. The very next day, Eric decided to stay in Minnesota for the winter instead of taking a job in Arizona so he could spend time with Ashley. Three years later, he proposed at the Minikahda Golf Club.

Are you catching the theme here? Golf has been the common thread throughout their entire relationship. It was only natural to have a golf course wedding! And Edinburgh was the perfect location. Not only had Eric worked there as a golf pro, his parent’s live just off of the course. Plus, we got to take golf carts from the church to the reception! So fun!

Ashley and Eric, thank you so much for inviting us into your lives. We are so honored and grateful to have been the ones to capture your wedding day. We knew immediately when we met that we would be great friends. Our personalities just mesh. It probably helps that two of us have the same name, right? Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Speck! So excited for all the fun we are going to have together!
