We always know we are going to have an amazing day when we get to photograph at the Cottage Farmhouse! We absolutely LOVE this venue! And when we get to spend the day with two wonderful people like Brittany + Blaine, it’s a dream!
With everything that 2020 has thrown at us, we were so excited that Brittany + Blaine decided to go ahead with their wedding day as planned. The guest list was shorter but everything went perfectly! We had the most perfect light all throughout the day to capture dreamy portraits and the rain held out until dinner was over, so we were able to still enjoy our meals under the pergola.
One of my favorite things about these two is how important their son is to them. I loved that they would have been ok with more portraits of him than of them as a couple. As a mother, I totally understand this and was so happy to capture this sweet boy as much as possible. I loved how he warmed up to us as the day went on.
We got the most perfect, glowy light for golden hour! It seems like every time we try to get these glowy portraits in the pasture, the clouds come in and give us perfectly filtered light instead. But this time we got it!
Brittany + Blaine, thank you so much for choosing us to spend the day with you! We had the best time and are so lucky to have you as friends! Congratulations!!!
