Hello, friends! We’re BACK and so excited to share what we’ve been working on since the last time we blogged! Our hiatus wasn’t intentional – apparently moving into a new house and growing a human at the same time requires a lot more energy and time than we could have possibly imagined! 

To celebrate our first wedding of the season at our FAVORITE wedding venue, we’re sharing Heidi and John’s elegant engagement session! Your might remember hearing about the Machine Shop from our Vendor Spotlight blog series, or from our Botanical Parisian styled shoot we were so blessed to be a part of last year. This is a dream location with a dream couple and we can hardly contain our excitement! 

We started off our shoot by spending a little time a Cafe Lucrat, a location that Heidi and John frequently go to for date nights. This sophisticated and stylish restaurant is a perfect blend of classic old world style with a Noveau twist. While exploring the area around Cafe Lucrat we spent some time in the side alleys, which made us feel like we stumbled upon a secret European country that was just ours. Which led us to the steps of The Basillica of St. Mary, an iconic landmark of Minneapolis. Heidi’s floor length black gown paired with John’s fitted suit and splash of blue from his shirt were the perfect combination to make this engagement session elegant and full of style. 

Heidi and John, we are BEYOND excited for your wedding!! So happy our first wedding of the season is yours! Can’t wait for you to me Mr. and Mrs!
